Get to know Barbara Perez like never before. Up close and personal, taking a deep dive into her awesome story full of snow-covered adventure!
I had the luck of interviewing Bárbara Pérez, a girl working in close contact with us at Ridestore. She’s a really energetic girl, and I think you will know what I mean when you read the article. Enjoy!
I’m a 23-year-old girl, who was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’m actually still based in Buenos Aires, but because of my job, I move around every week to different places. I work with my social media, I get to travel, model and most of all – enjoy my board lifestyle. My favourite sport is Snowboarding.
My parents are my biggest inspirations, I think. They first showed me the mountains when I was 2 years old and since then I couldn’t stop riding.
I started off skiing when I was 2 and then when I was 11 I tried snowboarding. Now I can’t let snowboarding go.
Actually, I have no attachments but I have a couple of dreams to make real. I really would want to go snowboarding in the Alps. Also, I want to try surfing in Bali or some other places around that area.
I have the opportunity to propose my own trips and get some brands to come with me and live the whole experience together with them!

Yeah! I always work super hard on each post and try to combine the colours of my feed and make my profile as inspirational as I can. I almost never upload pictures in closed surrounded areas like indoors. I want to post pictures outside and explore by connecting sports and adventure.
Because I love it. I totally love travelling, working and riding. I get to know people, and places to try different sports and, especially, board sports… It’s the best that could ever have happened to me.
Always do what you feel like, do what you enjoy and follow your passion.
I always try to tell my followers to toughen up and accept the challenge. There is a whole, and incredible lifestyle up in the mountains that too few know of, and the ones that get to know it don’t let go of it. The art of learning snowboarding is patience, desire and will.
I think Travis Rice is one of my top freeride idols, and Shawn White is a huge inspiration and icon. I also really enjoy Sven Thorgren’s style, but there are so many talented riders out there it’s hard to pick. I follow- and get inspired by many of them.
I love both! On a stormy day and after a snow dump, I won’t think twice about hitting the off-piste, but on a sunny day, I love hitting the park.
I really love landing new tricks, watching videos and trying new stuff! But I try to see my riding as joy, I’ve never tried competing or thought of taking the sport to a professional level, because I’m passionate about the riding, and I think competing would ruin that.
I live in the biggest city in Argentina, which is Buenos Aires. There are so many things to do. I love to go wakeboarding in my local park when I’m home. It’s the easiest way to connect with boarding when no snow is around. I also tried skating and really liked it. I work a lot in the fashion industry and with lifestyle brands when I’m home. I also like surfing, but I need to travel to find waves.
Yes! I’m currently working on a video project. I’m growing my YouTube channel and my audio-visual life. I want people to know everything about my adventures, tell them about places, food, sports, and make them live my experience with me through my videos.
Pink, because it’s the colour of passion.
